Denzel Bellot picked up the final Heartland Men's Player of the Week award this season, earning the honor for games played from Feb. 20 - Feb. 26.
Bellot had an extremely efficient week as he led the Dustdevils to their fifth Heartland Conference Championship averaging 26 points per game on 63-percent shooting from the floor including nearly 70-percent from beyond the arc. The Oakland, California native also averaged 4.5 rebounds per game pulling down 9 boards while handing out two assists and picking up three steals. In his final regular season game with TAMIU, Bellot dropped 28 points on 10 of 15 shooting including 5 of 6 from downtown. This is Bellot's first weekly honor this season.
