William Wurth enters his second season as the Assistant Golf Coach. Wurth joined the Texas A&M International University Golf Program in 2013 as a Student-Athlete, he returned as the Assistant Coach in the fall of 2015.Â
Wurth began his professional career at Casa Blanca Golf Course in Laredo, serving as the Assistant Golf Professional. Wurth worked along side of now Head Coach Rudy Gonzalez. He continued his career as a U.S. Kid's Golf Certified Coach at RG Golf Instruction as the Lead Junior Golf Instructor/Movement Coach.Â
Wurth enjoyed a two-year Baseball career at TAMIU before joining the Golf Team for his final year. During his two seasons at TAMIU Wurth picked up two First Team All-Heartland Conference awards. Wurth is the all-time single season leader in hits (77). He can be found in the Top 10 all-time in five season categories and seven career categories.Â
Wurth resides in Laredo where he enjoys golfing and fishing.Â
