Incarnate Word defeated Texas A&M International University 3-2 in Heartland Conference action on Friday night in San Antonio. UIW (18-7, 9-1) stays on top of the conference standings with the 18-30, 30-20, 27-30, 30-24, 15-10 win over the Dustdevils.

TAMIU (7-15, 4-6) remains in a fifth place tie in the Heartland Conference standings with the loss, one game behind St. Edward's. The top four teams in the conference regular season standings qualify for the conference postseason tournament.
