Final Stats

West Texas A&M defeated Texas A&M International University 1-0 in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at Dustdevil Field. The Buffaloes secure a 2-0 season sweep over the Dustdevils with the narrow win.

Jacob Jensen scored the game winner for WT (15-2) on a header into the goal off of a Tommy Nutter corner kick in the fourth minute. West Texas A&M finished with a 13-5 advantage in shots and 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Freshman goalkeeper Juan Pablo Muñoz finished with four saves for the Dustdevils.

TAMIU (5-8-2) concludes the season next weekend with home games against St. Mary's on Friday and Incarnate Word on Sunday. Friday's tilt against St. Mary's will kickoff at 3 p.m. at Dustdevil Field.
