Incarnate Word defeated Texas A&M International 5-0 on a rainy Friday afternoon in San Antonio. It was the Heartland Conference opener for both teams.

TAMIU (0-3, 0-1) will try to break into the win column with a home game against Texas Lutheran on Monday. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Dustdevil Field.
