Final Stats

St. Edward's defeated Texas A&M International University 24-26, 25-14, 25-14, 25-18 in Heartland Conference action on Wednesday night at the TAMIU Kinesiology & Convocation Building. The match was the final home match for seniors Nicole Gipson, Madison Mojica and Brittany Smith.

Lindsey Douglas led St. Edward's(13-11, 9-3 Heartland) with 24 kills and the Hilltoppers finished with a .281 team hitting percentage. Kelsey Teal finished with a team-high 17 digs.

Smith led the Dustdevils with 12 kills and six blocks. Alexandria Montemayor and Mojica tied for the team lead with 16 digs.

TAMIU (5-22, 2-10) will close out the season with two road matches. The DUstdevils play at Newman on Nov. 6 and Oklahoma Panhandle State on Nov. 8.
