Final Stats

Incarnate Word routed Texas A&M International University 11-0 in Heartland Conference action on Friday afternoon at Dustdevil Field. The result wraps up a 2-0 season sweep for the Cardinals over the Dustdevils.

Incarnate Word (8-1, 4-0 Heartland) scored on its first three shots to build a 3-0 lead less than seven and a half minutes into the game. The Cardinals finished with a 32-1 advantage in shots taken.

TAMIU (1-10, 0-5) will play its next six games on the road. That stretch begins next Friday with a conference contest at St. Edward's.
