Final Stats

Texas A&M International University defeated Oklahoma Panhandle State 25-23, 25-23, 8-25, 25-17 in the regular season finale for both teams on Saturday in Goodwell, Okla. With the win the Dustdevils finish the season with a two-match winning streak.

TAMIU (7-22, 4-10 Heartland) held a 13-10 lead in the fourth set before going on a 6-2 run to build an insurmountable 19-12 lead. The match-clinching win in the fourth set was closed out by a kill by senior Nicole Gipson.

Isela Flores led the Dustdevils with a team-high 11 kills while also notching nine digs. All three seniors also contributed to the win. Brittany Smith notched 10 kills and five blocks, Madison Mojica 10 digs and Gipson eight kills and four blocks.
