Final Stats

Nationally-ranked Central Oklahoma defeated Texas A&M International University 81-62 at the St. Edward's University Christmas Classic on Friday afternoon in Austin.

The game was tied 16-16 at the 12:04 mark of the first half before the 12th ranked Bronchos went on a 27-7 run over the next 10 minutes to build and insurmountable 43-23 lead. UCO (8-1) led 45-28 at the half. TAMIU (3-7) played the Bronchos nearly even in the second half but could get no closer than nine points.

Chevelle Hoyle led the Dustdevils by finishing with a career-high 19 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Mary Tobias contributed 18 points.

TAMIU concludes the St. Edward's Classic on Saturday against Texas A&M-Kingsville. Tip-off against the Javelinas is scheduled for 1 p.m.
