Tarleton State Beats TAMIU For Border Olympics Second Place Finish

Final Stats

Tarleton State swept Texas A&M International University (25-13, 25-13, 25-20) on Saturday at the Kinesiology & Convocation Building on campus. With the win the TexAnns wrapped up a second place finish in the inaugural Border Olympics Tournament.

Alexandria Montemayor led TAMIU (1-6 overall) with eight kills. Isela Flores contributed a team-high 18 digs. Rachel Wolf led Tarleton State (3-4) with 10 kills.

TAMIU returns to action next weekend at the Tarleton State Tournament. The Dustdevils will open tournament play against Lone Star Conference foes Central Oklahoma and Midwestern State on Friday.
