Arkansas-Fort Smith swept Texas A&M International University (25-19, 25-12, 25-15) in non-conference action on Friday evening at the TAMIU Kinesiology & Convocation Building. UAFS is a provisional NCAA Division II and Heartland Conference member this season.
Arkansas-Fort Smith dominated on the attack, finishing with 43 kills and a .425 attack percentage. Isela Flores and Brittany Rendon combined to account for 17 of TAMIU's 29 kills.
TAMIU (3-26) will close-out the season with home matches against St. Mary's on Thursday and Incarnate Word on Saturday. First serve against St. Mary's is scheduled for 7 p.m.
