St. Edward's defeated Texas A&M International University 9-0 in Heartland Conference action on Friday afternoon in Austin. TAMIU managed only two shots in suffering its eighth shutout loss of the season.

TAMIU (0-11-1, 0-5 Heartland) returns to action on Sunday with a road conference game at St. Mary's. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
