Final Stats

UT-Permian Basin defeated Texas A&M International University 107-80 in Heartland Conference action on Saturday afternoon on the UTPB campus in Odessa. It was the season finale for both teams.

TAMIU (9-18, 7-9 Heartland) led 46-45 at halftime but UTPB (9-18, 5-11) started the second half with a 22-8 run to take a 67-54 lead at the 14:17 mark of the second half. The Falcon lead was stretched 21 points at the 9:08 mark and 31 points at the 5:04 mark.

TAMIU finishes in sixth place in its first season as an active member of the Heartland Conference.
