Final Stats

Texas A&M International University opened its Spring Break road trip with a 6-1 loss to Eastern New Mexico on Wednesday afternoon in Portales, N.M. The result snapped an eight-game Dustdevil winning streak.

TAMIU (19-9) scored its only run of the game on a fielder's choice ground out by Samantha García in the fourth inning. ENMU (17-13) scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to build the 6-1 lead.

Victoria Beltrán (13-6) took the loss for the Dustdevils. She allowed four earned runs on nine hits in 6.0 innings of work.

TAMIU continues its Spring Break road trip tomorrow before playing a Heartland Conference series at Oklahoma Panhandle State this weekend.
