Final Stats

UT-Permian Basin swept Texas A&M International University in three sets (25-16, 25-21, 25-16) in Heartland Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the TAMIU Kinesiology & Convocation Building.

UTPB (6-11, 1-1 Heartland) finished with 39 kills and 59 digs compared to 30 kills and 44 digs for the home team. Jamie Rodell led the Falcons with 12 kills and Danae Eckart notched a team-high 20 digs.

Isela Flores and Brittany Rendon led TAMIU (1-14, 0-2) with seven kills apiece. Jennifer Vega led the squad with 14 digs.

TAMIU returns to action with conference road matches at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Thursday and Newman on Saturday.
