Final Stats

Newman swept Texas A&M International University (25-20, 25-23, 25-12) in Heartland Conference action on Saturday afternoon in Wichita, Kan.

Isela Flores led the Dustdevils with nine kills and eight digs. TAMIU struggled on the attack, finishing with only 32 kills and a .167 attack percentage.

TAMIU (2-15, 1-3 Heartland) returns to action on Wednesday with a home conference match against St. Edward's. First serve against the Hilltoppers is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Kinesiology & Convocation Building on campus.
