A&M-Commerce Sweeps Dustdevils

Texas A&M-Commerce swept Texas A&M International University (25-22, 25-18, 25-16) in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at the TAMIU Kinesiology & Convocation Building.

TAMUC (5-9) finished with 36 kills and nine blocks compared to 29 kills and two blocks for the Dustdevils.

Jacquelynne Matula led TAMIU (0-16) with 10 kills on 23 attempts. Alexandria Montemayor finished with a team-high seven digs and Cassandra Rivera led the way with 12 assists.

TAMIU will now play four straight Heartland Conference home contests, starting with visits by Dallas Baptist on Thursday and St. Edward's on Saturday.
