Final Stats

St. Mary's swept Texas A&M International University (25-18, 25-22, 25-15) in Heartland Conference action on Wednesday night at the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Building.

TAMIU (1-22, 1-9 Heartland) held a 16-9 lead in the second set before St. Mary's (12-14, 6-4) stormed back to win the set and take a 2-0 lead. The third set was tight before the Rattlers went on a 9-3 run to stretch a 12-10 lead to an insurmountable 21-13 lead.

St. Mary's finished with a 34-20 edge in kills and 43-33 advantage in digs.

Bianca Mares led the Dustdevils with six kills and Clarissa Martínez finished with a team-high 13 digs.
