Final Stats

UT-Permian Basin defeated Texas A&M International University in four sets (25-27, 25-22, 25-20, 25-17) in Heartland Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Falcon Dome in Odessa.

TAMIU (0-13, 0-3 Heartland) scored the last three points to secure a first set win before the home team stormed back to win the next three sets and the match.

Bianca Mares led the Dustdevils with a season-high tying 15 kills and Brittany Faison led the squad with a season-high 18 digs.

TAMIU returns to action next Saturday with a non-conference home match against Texas A&M-Commerce. First serve against the Lady Lions is scheduled for 2 p.m.
