Final Stats

Arkansas-Fort Smith defeated Texas A&M International University 75-50 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Stubblefield Center on the UAFS campus.

UAFS (15-5) led 23-19 at the 9:05 mark of the first half before ending the period with a 19-10 run to take a 42-29 halftime lead. The Lions opened the second half with a 13-3 run to build an insurmountable 55-32 lead. TAMIU (5-16) would no closer than 19 points the rest of the game.

Erika Rosas made four 3-pointers and led the Dustdevils with 13 points. Nikkiti Scott contributed 11 points and Jennifer Johnson finished with nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Ashley Arnold led UAFS with 18 points. Tashley Gaines contributed 16 points and a team-high six rebounds.
