Final Stats

St. Mary's defeated Texas A&M International University 78-52 in Heartland Conference action on Thursday night at the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Building.

St. Mary's (12-8, 4-1 Heartland) out-rebounded TAMIU (5-17, 2-3) 39-23 while making 28 field goal attempts compared to 17 field goals for the Dustdevils.

Samantha Chacon led the Dustdevils with 14 points. Nikkiti Scott was the next leading scorer with nine points. Johnna Williams contributed a team-high six rebounds and two blocks.

Three players scored in double figures for St. Mary's, with Kristen Williams leading the way with 20 points. She also contributed a team-high seven rebounds.
