LAREDO, Texas - The Texas A&M International University Women's Basketball Team made school history Saturday afternoon, becoming the first women's basketball team to record five non-conference wins. Facing Arlington Baptist College for the second straight day, the Dustdevils once again made easy work of the Patriots winning 91-26.
TAMIU's size and strength were too much for Arlington Baptist, with the Dustdevils out-rebounding the Patriots 56-27 and scoring 26 points in the paint compared to only two from the Patriots. The TAMIU defense was active the entire game forcing 26 turnovers and scoring 37 points off those miscues.
