Final Stats

Arkansas-Fort Smith defeated Texas A&M International University 72-41 in non-conference action on Thursday evening at the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Building.

TAMIU (7-20) could not overcome a shaky first half in which the Dustdevils made only four of 27 field goal attempts. UAFS (19-5) made 11 of 32 field goal attempts in the first half en route to a 30-12 halftime lead.

The Dustdevils played better in the second half but could not come back against their future Heartland Conference rivals.

Johnna Williams and Christina Tristan turned in solid performances on Senior Night for the Dustdevils. Williams led the squad with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Tristan recorded three blocks to move into fourth on the TAMIU career list with 51 total blocks.
