LAREDO, Texas (October 11, 2015) -- The Lady Dustdevils were cut short in a 0-1 loss against St. Mary's in a Sunday matinee match at Dustdevil Field.
TAMIU battled through the first half against the Rattlers, holding the Heartland Conference rival scoreless through 45 minutes. Senior Goalkeeper Chelsea Knaack faced 6 total shots at her cage.
Though the second half, both squads played with eagerness to put their team on the board. It took until the 84th minute for the Rattlers to generate a result. The lone goal by St. Mary's stood for the game final, leaving the Dustdevils with their 4th one-goal loss of the season. Knaack completed the game with 7 total saves.
