Starting hot, the Dustdevils went up early, as Junior Tayeb Ahmadi tallied the first goal in the 29th minute. Ahmadi hustled his way to the Eagles' net, recieving a pass from Senior Ryan Hodgson, which allowed for Ahmadi's shot to be placed just left of the Eagles' keeper.

Before the end of the first half, the Eagles' came back to tie the game in the 41st minute. The 1-1 tie would hold through the end of regulation, forcing overtime.

In overtime, Freshman Connor Hogg deflected a shot from Senior Robert Dominguez in the 93rd minute, which resulted in the Dustdevils 2-1 win. The game winning goal from Hogg was recognized as his first NCAA career goal. The Dustdevils are now 3-1 in conference play (5-7 overall), which lands them in 2nd place.
