FRISCO, Texas (October 31st, 2015) -- The TAMIU Women's Soccer held #13 Dallas Baptist to a no-score final during their season finale on Saturday. The Dustdevils finished their 2015 season with a 2-13-2 overall record, and 1-5-2 in the Heartland Conference.
The Dustdevils had few opportunities on the Patriots side of the field, recording 5 shots in total, with one on the DBU net.
On the TAMIU side of the field, Senior Goalkeeper Chelsea Knaack saw 32 shots come her way, with 15 directly on her net. Knaack turned all shots away, keeping the Dustdevils net clear of any scoring from the #13 Patriots in all 110 minutes. DBU also had 8 corner kick opportunities that were turned away, while TAMIU had none.
TAMIU completes their 2015 campaign short of conference playoffs. Their singular conference win of the season came versus #22 St. Edward's on Thursday night.
The Women's Soccer team looks to grow and improve as they look forward to their 2016 season.
