GOODWELL, Oklahoma (October 4th, 2015) -- TAMIU's Volleyball squad finished their 4-day roadtrip with a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Sunday afternoon (26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16). The Dustdevils went 1-2 over the span of the trip, and are now 4-4 in Heartland Conference play (4-8 Overall), which places them 5th in Conference standings.

First set play required some extra effort given a back-and-forth battle for the lead. As the score increased, the Dustdevils dug deep to allow TAMIU to hold on and seal the victory with a score of 26-24.

The Dustdevils "road legs" were a slight factor in Set 2, in which OPSU capitalized on to take the set victory. Despite the Dustdevils showing signs of exhaustion, they were determined to come home with the win.

With sets tied at one each, the Dustdevils re-grouped and went to work, taking sets 3 and 4 with win margins of 7 and 9 points. These wins gave TAMIU their final score of 3-1, notching a sweep on season matches against OPSU.

TAMIU out-performed OPSU in each statistical category during the course of match play.
