GUNNISON, Colorado (September 5, 2015) – Colorado elevation was not very friendly to the TAMIU Women's Soccer Team. Coming off a 1-3 loss the day before to UCCS in Colorado Springs, the Lady Dustdevils traveled to Gunnison, Colorado to be faced with a 0-2 loss against Western State Colorado on Satuday.

Two first half goals by the Mountaineers blanked the Dustdevils in their second game of the season. A fair game of no penalties or ejections, TAMIU stood their ground defensively to hold WSCU scoreless in the second half. Goalkeeper Chelsea Knaack made 8 saves.

The Lady Dustdevils return to Laredo with home field advantage on their minds. They host their Fall Invitational on September 11th and 13th, facing Texas Permian - Basin (9/11, 7PM) and Eastern New Mexico (9/13, 1PM). St. Mary's rounds out the invitational guests.

You can catch the Lady Dustdevils Fall Invitational at the TAMIU Soccer Complex, the live statistics and video at www.godustdevils.com, or by following the live Twitter feed at @TAMIUAthletics.
