Box Score DALLAS, Texas (October 22, 2016) - The Texas A&M International University Volleyball team finished off a road-trip against Dallas Baptist on Saturday. TAMIU would fall in four sets, moving to 1-17 overall (1-8 HC).
Set 1: TAMIU 25 - DBU 22
The Dustdevils jumped out to an early lead in the first set on Saturday. After trailing mid-way through the set, the Dustdevils would go on a run, opening a 15-10 lead. DBU would battle back to bring the game even before the teams traded points to the finish. TAMIU took the upper hand, winning the set 25-22.
Set 2: TAMIU 15 - DBU 25
The Patriots would control the second set of the afternoon, taking the set by 10. Seperate scoring runs from DBU would allow the Patriots to open the lead.
Set 3: TAMIU 16 - DBU 25
DBU came out strong in the third set as the Dustdevils looked to take a 2-1 advantage in the match. The Patriots opened an early lead that would be too much for TAMIU. The Dustdevils would bring the game within striking distance before DBU opened a nine point advantage late in the set.
Set 4: TAMIU 19 - 25
TAMIU looked to force a game five in the fourth set, taking multiple two-point leads. After trading leads, the Patriots would put the game away late, taking the final set and the match.

Megan Unrath each recorded three blocks on the day.
Alejandra Bustamante picked up 22 digs while
Alexis Villa recorded 16. Victoria Zamora led the Dustdevils with 15 assists.
The Dustdevils return home on Thursday, October 27 for a matchup with Oklahoma Panhandle. Thursday's game is the annual Dig Pink game with play set to begin at 7 pm in the TAMIU KCB.
