The Dustdevils (3-8-1, 2-7-1 HC) return to the friendly confines of Dustdevil Soccer Field after defeating Oklahoma Christian 2-0 as sophomore
Cio Bargallo recorded her school record sixth multi-goal match of the season. TAMIU will need all the offense it can get as the Hillcats (10-3-1, 6-3-1 HC) enter the final two weeks as one of the hottest teams in the conference. RSU has won three of the past four matches including a 2-1 victory over St. Edward's moving them into second place in the conference standings.

A LOOK AT THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Thursday's match will be the second meeting in 2017 and seventh overall between the two programs. RSU leads the all-time series 4-1-1 with the Dustdevils lone win coming on Oct. 6, 2014 in overtime in Claremore, Okla.

THE LAST TIME AROUND
The Dustdevils dropped a 1-0 decision in double overtime to the Hillcats on Sept. 16 as Jordan Downing scored the golden goal in the 101
st minute. TAMIU was held to just seven shots with Bargallo leading the way with two while

Abigail Colmenares all had a shot on-target.

A LOOK AT THE HILLCATS
Scott Parkinson (16-12-4) has turned the RSU women's soccer program into one of the top in the conference in just his second season leading them to a 10-win season for the first time since 2012. The Liverpool, England native led the Hillcats to their first victory over St. Edward's this past Saturday moving them into second place in the conference.

The Hillcat offense has been explosive this season scoring 45 goals, 16 of those coming in a 16-0 thrashing of Manhattan Christian, while the defense has held opposing teams to eight goals. Daisy Cardona is the leading goal scorer (9 goals, 3 assists) with 21 points with Alexis Pryor and Hannah Muhisky having scored six goals each. Madison Murray, Jordan Downing and Melissa Cardenas have a team-high four assists.

Taylor Sargent was named the Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Hillcats to a 2-0-1 record. She has started in all 14 matches for RSU in 2017 as the junior has recorded seven shutouts on 52 saves on 98 shots faced. She ranks 23
rd nationally in save percentage (.867) and goals against average (0.56).

STATS WATCH
With her shutout against OC,
Aubrey Hall became the 11
th player in program history to earn one or more shutouts in a single season. She also ranks fourth in most wins in a season with three.

Monica Castro's five assists in 2017 are tied for the third-most in a single season in program history with her eight career assists putting her fourth all-time.

With nine more shots in 2017, Bargallo would bring her season total to 65 tying her own school record set in 2016. She already owns the record for most shots-on goal in a season (32 and counting) with six shots on-target against OC on Saturday.

Sophomore
Susanna Abrahamsson has played a team-high 1,223 minutes this season for TAMIU. She is the only player on the roster that has been on the field for every minute played this year including registering over 100 minute three times.

BARGALLO NEARING THE TOP FIVE
With two more goals in 2017, Bargallo would become the fifth player in Heartland Conference history to score 17 goals in a single season. The 17 goals are the fifth-most in conference history with Incarnate Word's Booke Hopkins owing three of the top four seasons including a Heartland-best 29 in 2001.

Bargallo has scored the past 11 goals for the Dustdevils dating back to a 4-3 loss to St. Mary's on Sept. 5 in Laredo. Freshman
Nicole Cohen is the last Dustdevil to score not wearing No. 2 as the El Paso, Texas product blasted a ball into the upper 90 in the 50
th minute against StMU.

HEARTLAND IN THE RANKINGS
For the first time in 2017 there were zero Heartland Conference schools in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's National Poll. St. Edward's, who was receiving votes, was left out of the poll after dropping a 2-1 decision to RSU on Saturday. Dallas Baptist is the top ranked team in the Massey Ratings coming in at 27
th with SEU at 46
th and RSU in 49
th.
