Texas A&M International dropped two four-set matches at the Raven First Serve Invitational on Friday at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire. The Dustdevils dropped the opener to California University of Pennsylvania (10-25, 26-24, 17-25, 9-25) and the nightcap to Long Island University-Post (18-25, 19-25, 25-21, 19-25).

Junior Annie Deininger finished with a season-high 12 kills in the loss to LIU Post. Freshman Allison Wade contributed eight kills and three digs to help the Dustdevils keep it competitive against the Pioneers, a team that qualified for the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament last season.

TAMIU (1-2) will closeout the season-opening tournament with matches against Wilmington at 11 a.m. and the University of New Haven at 3 p.m. Live stats will not be available for either match.
