Texas A&M International dropped two matches at the Raven First Serve Invitational on Saturday at Franklin Pierce University in Ridge, New Hampshire. The Dustdevils dropped the opener to Wilmington in straight sets (21-25, 25-27, 11-25) before dropping the tournament finale to New Haven in four sets (26-24, 19-25, 13-25, 11-25).
 
Dustdevil junior Annie Deininger was named as a First-Team All-Tournament selectee. The transfer from Casper College notched 31 kills, a .203 hitting percentage, 3 service aces and 8 blocks in four tournament matches.
 
TAMIU (1-4) returns to action next weekend with four matches at the Shark Invitational, which will be played at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Dustdevils will face Babson College and Lynn on Friday and Missouri S&T and Nova Southeastern on Saturday.
