LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International University women's soccer (2-4-1, 1-1-1 LSC) will host two Lone Star Conference opponents starting with Oklahoma Christian (0-9-0, 0-4-0 LSC) on Thursday, Oct. 10 and Midwestern State (1-7-1, 0-4-0 LSC) on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Last Thursday, TAMIU secured its first LSC victory of the season in a 3-1 victory over St. Mary's (2-6-0, 0-3-0 LSC). The Dustdevils had three different goal scorers including Samantha Bernal, Izabella Correa and Vivian Martinez while Gracielle Martinez registered her first-career two-assist match to help seal the win.
The Dustdevils are currently 8-2-1 against the Oklahoma Christian Eagles dating back to the 2012 campaign. Head coach Meagan Anderson's roster lists 11 freshmen who are seeking their first win of the season.

Midwestern State is currently in the middle of a six-game losing skid as they were held scoreless by both Angelo State (7-1-1, 3-0-1 LSC) last Thursday in a 2-0 decision and St. Edward's (5-4-0, 4-0-0 LSC) by a score of 1-0 last Saturday. The Mustangs have six players that have found the back of the net including Kelly Cannistra and Sara Machado who lead the team with two goals apiece this season.
