LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International baseball (9-26, 8-25 LSC) fell 7-1 in the regular season finale to Cameron (7-29, 7-23 LSC) on Saturday.
Before the game, TAMIU honored its seven seniors in their final home game as Dustdevils.
The Aggies wasted no time getting on the board with an early 4-0 lead thanks to two two-run homers in the opening inning.
TAMIU got its lone run in the third inning to cut the deficit to 7-1. Luis Flores scored on a wild pitch.
Cameron added a run in the fifth on an RBI infield single. They sealed the 7-1 win in the sixth with a two RBI double down the right field line.
Evan Nichols (1-1) earned the win. Zach Carrion (0-1) took the loss.
