SAN ANGELO, Texas – Texas A&M International women's basketball fell again on the road on Saturday, this time to Angelo State by a score of 83-56.
Â
The Dustdevils (14-8, 5-6 LSC) started out hot in the first quarter, leading 20-16 after the opening 10 minutes.

TAMIU shot 8-for-14 form the floor and 4-for-7 from behind the arc, but couldn't sustain that and went cold the next two quarters.

Â
Out of the half, the Rambelles (11-11, 8-3 LSC) lead grew to 55-35, winning the quarter 22-10 and limiting TAMIU to again just 4-for-12 shooting in the quarter.
Â
The Dustdevils were unable to chip away despite shooting over 50% in the fourth quarter, due to Angelo State shooting 66.7% in the quarter, and the 28-21 deficit over the 10 minutes led to the 83-56 final.
Â
TAMIU for the game shot 39.6% (21-for-53) from the floor and 29.2% (7-for-24) from deep. The free-throw line was not kind to the Dustdevils either, as they shot 7-for-16 (43.8%) from the stripe.
