LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International head women's basketball coach, Nate Vogel, announced the signing of Angelique Morgan to the 2022 recruiting class on Wednesday.

A native of Kileen, Texas, Morgan is set to join TAMIU in the fall after recently graduating from Harker Heights High School.

Morgan earned a long list of accolades during her high school basketball career including:

• 12-6A First Team All-District (2019, 2020, 2021)
• Defensive Player Award (2020, 2021)
• 3D- Determination, Dedication, Desire Award (2020, 2021)
• 12-6A Academic All-District (2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21)
• Heart Award (2019)
• 12-6A Newcomer of the District (2019)
• 12-6A District Champions (2019-20, 2020-21)
• Bi-District and Area Champions (2019-20)
• District Runner Up (2019)
