ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Texas A&M International men's golf concluded the NCAAWest Regional Fall Preview on Tuesday, finishing fifth place in the 11 team event.
 
As a team, the Dustdevils shot a -2 (862) over three rounds, with its best round coming in round two, a -5 (283).
 
Junior Mauricio Figueroa led TAMIU on the individual scoreboard, being named to the All-Tournament team, shooting a -9 (207) to end the event T-4th.
 
Freshman Oscar Feschuk ended T-12th with a -1 (215) over 64 holes, while senior Santiago Garcia added a top 30 placement, tying for 27th with a +3 (219).
 
Freshman Sunay Jay (+7, 223) T-42^nd after an E (72) in the final round, senior Ryan Staykov (+16, 232) 61st and sophomore Gunner Clapper (+23, 239) T-64^th rounded out the order for TAMIU.
 
TAMIU now has a couple weeks to prepare for the Midwestern State Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas which is set to begin on Monday, Oct. 10.
