Box Score Fort Smith, Arkansas – Texas A&M International volleyball and UAFS battled back and forth during Saturday's match but the Lions won the last two sets to a five 3-2 (25-19, 17-25, 18-25, 25-17, 16-14).
The Dustdevils recorded 60 kills as a team and hit .170 percent compared to UAFS who tallied 64 kills with a .187 hitting percentage.
Anna Ligart led TAMIU with 17 kills, Ariana Guerra added 15 more and Mia Molina totaled 10.
Giulia Hortelan led the Dustdevils with two kills and Hannah Thompson added a team-high six blocks.
Emma Lade dished out 49 assists and Hortelan led with 35 digs.
TAMIU is now 10-6 on the season and 2-2 in the LSC.
The Dustdevils will be in action next at  3 p.m. on Monday at Arkansas-Monticello who is 0-18 on the season.
