Dustdevils End Season Against Rambelles

San Angelo, Texas – Texas A&M International women's soccer saw its season come to an end on Monday night in the quarterfinals of the LSC playoffs, falling to Angelo State 3-0.

The Dustdevils (8-5-5, 6-3-3 LSC) struggled to get its offense going, totaling just five shots, three of which were on goal. The Rambelles (9-6-4, 7-2-3 LSC) totaled 16, 10 of which were on goal.

The first goal came in the 19th minute and Angelo State found the back of the net in the 41st minute to take a 2-0 lead into the break. The final goal came in the 62nd minute.

Candela Gonzalez, Lucia Cuadra and Sammy Hecht were the three TAMIU players to finish with a shot of goal.

Fabiana Solano finished with five saves.
