BULLARD, Texas – Texas A&M International men's golf finished the King-Alfred Invite in eighth place on Tuesday, the same where they started the day.
After shooting a 317 in the first round and a 305 on the second round, the Dustdevils shot a 308 in the third and final round to finish +24 (930). They defeated Lubbock Christian by seven strokes and were 12 strokes behind St. Mary's.
Junior
Mauricio Figueroa led TAMIU with a +8 to finished in a T-12. He shot a 74 on the third round.
Freshman
Elvis Steen shot a +20 (233) to finish in 35th and freshman
Oscar Feschuk climbed one spot on the leaderboard on Tuesday finishing with a +22 (235) to take 37th.
Sophomore
Gunner Clapper had the biggest jump of any Dustdevil, shooting a +35 (248) to take 47th.
Sophomore
Zaden Danielson shot a +40 (253) to take 50th and senior Joel Alfaro scored +44 (257) for 53rd.
The men's team will be in action next on Monday, April 3 at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear Arizona to wrap up the regular season.
