THACKERVILLE, Oklahoma – Texas A&M International Golf sits in seventh place after Monday's first day of the Lone Star Championship after shooting +14 over 36 holes of golf.
The Dustdevils shot 295 on both rounds. They are three strokes behind St. Mary's and have a two-stroke lead on UT Permian Basin with 18 holes left on Tuesday.
Mauricio Figueroa leads TAMIU with a -1 (143) to finish in a T-9. He shot -3 in the second round, the best score out of all golfers.
Right behind Figueroa, freshman
Oscar Feschuk was even (144) through two rounds to finish in a T-12.
Sophomore
Gunner Clapper shot +6 (150) to finish in a T-37, freshman
Elvis Steen carded a +9 (153) to finish in a T-45, and sophomore
Zaden Danielson shot +12 (156) to finish in a T-53.
Junior
The Dustdevils resume play tomorrow in the third and final round. The top four teams will compete in match play on Wednesday.
