THACKERVILLE, Oklahoma – Texas A&M International Men's Golf finished tied for seventh place at the Lone Star Men's Championship on Tuesday after junior
Mauricio Figueroa placed third overall.
Figueroa was ninth coming into the day before shooting -4 (68) in the third and final round which was tied for the best score of the day. He finished with a score of -5 (211) over three rounds of golf.
The Dustdevils shot a +21 (885) as a team.
Freshman
Oscar Feschuk carded a +3 (219) to finish tied for 16th, freshman
Elvis Steen totaled +11 (227) to finish in a tie for 41st, sophomore
Gunner Clapper shot +16 (232) to finish in a tie for 50th and sophomore
Zaden Danielson totaled +18 (234) to finish in a tie for 55th.
The Dustdevils will wait to see whether the team or any individuals made the regional tournament set for Thursday, May 11 in Rohnert Park, California.
