AUSTIN, Texas – Texas A&M International baseball fell in both games during a doubleheader against St. Edward's on Saturday, losing 5-0 and 9-2.
St. Edwards 5 TAMIU 0
St. Edwards took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third and added four runs in the bottom of the fifth to seal the win.
The Dustdevils were held to four hits on the day with senior

Isaac Gonzalez recording the hits.
Freshman
Cody Templeton pitched all six innings and allowed five runs on seven hits while walking two batters and striking out one.
St. Edwards 9 TAMIU 2
The Hilltoppers scored two runs in the bottom of the first, two in the bottom of the third, three in the fifth and two in the sixth.
TAMIU tried to rally and scored two runs in the top of the seventh.

Marcos Alvarado singled in a run and junior
Antonio Buentello hit a sacrifice fly.
Junior
Lalo Salinas started the game and pitched three innings where he allowed four hits and five hits.

Andrew Delgadillo pitched 1.1 innings where he allowed three runs on four hits, redshirt freshman
Reese Petersen pitched 0.2 hitless innings and redshirt freshman
Mario Garcia pitched one hitting where he allowed two runs on two hits.
The Dustdevils are in action next at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, April 30 at St. Edwards for the final game of the regular season.
