Rohnert Park, California – Texas A&M international junior Mauricio Figueroa is tied for 14th after the first day of the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional Tournament on Thursday.

Figueroa shot ever (72) over 18 holes of golf. He shot birdy on holes three, nine and 16.

He is currently six strokes out of first place and four strokes out of second.

Round two will be played on Friday, May 12.
