SALT LAKE CITY – Texas A&M International men's soccer fell 1-0 to Westminster (UT) on Saturday to fall to 1-0 on the season.
The game was a defensive battle for a majority of the game, but the Griffins found the game winner in the 83rd minute to seal the win.
The Dustdevils totaled 15 shots in the game, six in the first half and nine in the second half. Nine of the 15 shots were on goal.
Westminster ended with 15 shots, five of which were on goal.
TAMIU will be in action next at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8 at Montana State University Billings in Rapid City, S.D.
