LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International Women's Soccer senior
Lucia Cuadra netted a hat track to give the Dustdevils (1-0-1) their first win of the season in a 6-0 victory over Sal Ross State at home on Sunday.
Sophomore
Sarah Hernandez started the scoring in the eighth minute, scoring off on a penalty. TAMIU held a 1-0 lead into the half.
Graduate Student
Louise Atkinson scored the second goal in the 67th minute, Cuadra scored her first goal in the 80th minute and found the back of the net for the second time one minute later.
Senior
Krysan St. Louis scored in the 86th minute and Cuadra completed the hat trick in the 88th minute.
St. Louis recorded two assists, freshman
Alexandra Garcia dished out one assist and graduate
Blanca Osorio totaled one assist.
The Dustdevils finished with 22 shots, 17 of which were on goal.
