Laredo, Texas- The Texas International A&M Dustdevils took on the West Texas A&M Buffs Wednesday night at Dustdevils Stadium. The night was a special one as it was a pink out and was dedicated to all individuals who have been affected by the horrible disease directly or indirectly. Coming into the match, the Dustdevils were 2-3-1 on the season, while the Buffs were 2-4-1 on the season. The two Lone Star Conference foes had an intense showing on Wednesday night.

In the first half it was all TAMIU, as they led the match in possession. They had possession fifty-five percent of the time. In the first half TAMIU had four total shots, two on target and three saves. The Buffs had six total shots with three on target. The Buffs also had two saves and two corners with a forty-five percent possession time. TAMIU is 7-11-3 all time against the Buffs.

The second half was much more of the same. Both teams played tremendous defense which did not allow for any goals in the second half. TAMIU finished the evening with six shots with two on goal, four saves and four corner kicks.

After this match, TAMIU moves to 2-3-2 on the season. The Dustdevils will face Midwestern State University on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
