Dallas, TX- Day two of the Dallas Baptist University Thanksgiving Classic was more Division II powerhouses in action. The TAMIU Dustdevils took on the Oklahoma Baptist University Bisons. TAMIU went into today's matchup 4-4 overall and was looking to get back on the right path after suffering a loss the previous night.

This would not be an easy task as both teams battled back and forth. Each basket was matched with another basket by the opposing team. The 101 attendees were in for a tight one as the Dustdevils and Bisons battled hard back and forth. After one half, the score was tied 27-27. The TAMIU Dustdevils were not going to leave this one without a win. It was a quick 8-0 run by Bison's but TAMIU fought back to even things up at 61-61 with 3:10 left to play in the match. A huge three pointer by
Caylen Goff Brown allowed the Dustdevils to go up three with less than two minutes to play. Brown was not done yet as he scored two more points in the paint to help seal the deal for the Dustdevils.
Esteban Roacho hit a couple of clutch free throws to put the game away against the Bison's.

TAMIU finished with 44.8% shooting from the field, 39% from the three-point line, and 70% from the charity stripe.
Caylen Goff Brown led all scorers with 23 points.
Anthony Ignowski,
Emaniel Alexandre, and
Isaiah Somers all finished with 11 points to help power the Dustdevils offense. It was a balanced team effort all-around to help grab the win.

The guys battled through adversity an dug deep to make some key plays down the stretch to seal the win. It was a huge win against a team that is picked to finished second in the GAC. It is time to get back and recover in order to get ready for more LSC play."
