Wichita Falls, Texas – The Dustdevils took on the Midwestern State Mustangs in the final game of the 2024 season where the Mustangs came away with the 4-1 victory.
The Mustangs got on the board in the bottom of the first with a solo home run. The game remained at 1-0 until MSU extended their lead in the fourth with a sacrifice fly and a 2-RBI single, giving them a 4-0 advantage.
The Dustdevils scored one run in the top of the seventh inning with a single from 
Alondra Rodriguez, but that would do it for TAMIU.
Tessa Ramirez pitched 4.0 innings for TAMIU and allowed four runs on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts.
Kylie Goad pitched two innings in relief allowing just one hit.
The 2024 season comes to an end as TAMIU finishes with a 15-37 overall record and 12-30 LSC record.
