Dustdevils fall to Patriots in season finale

Laredo, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer closed out its 2025 season on Wednesday night at Dustdevil Soccer Field, falling 2–1 to DBU in Lone Star Conference action.

After a scoreless first half, the Patriots struck first in the 72nd minute before the Dustdevils responded just five minutes later. Kai Louviere netted the equalizer in the 77th minute to bring TAMIU level at 1–1.

DBU reclaimed the lead in the 81st minute with what would prove to be the game-winner. Despite creating several late chances, the Dustdevils were unable to find another goal.

TAMIU finished with 13 shots, six of which were on target, while goalkeeper Ioannis Koupepides recorded four saves in the match.

With the result, Texas A&M International closes out the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 3–9–5 and 1–8–1 in Lone Star Conference play. This marks the conclusion of the 2025 season for the Dustdevils.
